Key aspects of the role include:- Maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with KSA regulations, and delivering timely financial reports for internal use and external statutory requirements.
- Responsible for the general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, cash flow, tax preparation, fixed assets, and financial reporting.
- Contributes to internal controls and financial compliance, regularly preparing reports for senior management and providing overall support to the Finance Business Partner.
- Recording and reviewing journal entries to ensure accurate ledger balances.
- Managing the financial close process, preparing financial statements and reconciling transactions.
To be successful you will need to meet the following:- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar finance/accounting role.
- Experience in Accounts Payable is necessary.
- Strong understanding of statutory accounting, legal, and taxation frameworks, particularly in KSA.
- Knowledge in international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Pharmaceutical industry background is a must.
