In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing suitable care plans for patients with functional disorders, ensuring their journey towards improved physical performance and independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a care plan tailored to each patient's needs and implement interventions accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with CBAHI standards and other relevant regulations.
- Obtain informed consent from patients, explaining the risks, benefits, and rationale for proposed therapies.
- Contribute to the development of policies concerning the use of physiotherapy equipment and advanced technologies.
- Provide treatment to patients, including muscle testing, guided exercises, and underwater treatments.
- Evaluate physical disabilities stemming from neurological disorders and other health issues.
- Follow protocols for patient care during physiotherapy treatment.
- Assist patients with mobility aids and various manual therapies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and progress.
- Develop educational programs for patients and caregivers regarding rehabilitation exercises.
- Monitor and adjust therapy based on patient responses at regular intervals.
- Ensure quality improvement and infection control measures are implemented within the department.
- Oversee the requisition of necessary stock items and document equipment issues.
- Compile statistical information related to patient care and hospital services.
- Maintain patient case files including evaluations and progress notes.
- Ensure proper sterilization of treatment units as per infection control instructions.
- Establish maintenance records for physiotherapy equipment.
Qualifications:- Current registration in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Physiotherapist.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
Skills:- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and physiotherapy practices.
- Effective management and leadership skills.
- Ability to implement quality and infection control programs in a clinical setting.
