The MENA Grocery team (UFG) is offering an exciting opportunity to become a Quality Specialist, where you will influence the quality of our meat, seafood, produce, and perishable items.
Key Responsibilities:- Review the quality of Meat, Seafood, Fruits, Vegetables, Eggs, and other perishable items during the inbound process.
- Reject damaged or defective items back to the vendor and document the items accordingly.
- Audit quality during picking and packing processes.
- Monitor packaging standards throughout the packing process.
- Perform daily audits of bins and provide weekly/daily reports to stakeholders.
- Train store and hub associates on quality standards, SOPs, and packaging.
The role may require occasional weekend work, not exceeding a 40-hour work week.

- Fluency in Arabic (speaking, writing, and reading).
- Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- HACCP and PIC 3 certification (SFDA) and knowledge of fruit and vegetable quality specifications is preferred.
