About the Role
Emdad By Elm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join its HR team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on employee offboarding and end-of-service procedures, ideal for an early-career professional with 0-1 years of experience looking to specialize in this critical HR function. The Payroll Analyst will play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant processing of all termination-related payroll activities, utilizing advanced HR and payroll systems.
In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting departing employees through their final payroll processes, ensuring all calculations for end-of-service benefits are precise and adhere to all relevant labor regulations. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth and professional conclusion of an employee's tenure with the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute accurate end-of-service calculations for departing employees using SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle HCM.
- Verify final payroll runs, ensuring all components such as accrued leave, bonuses, and statutory deductions are correctly accounted for.
- Coordinate closely with the finance and legal departments to reconcile termination payouts and guarantee full compliance with regulations.
- Maintain and meticulously audit employee offboarding records within the HRIS, ensuring all status updates and documentation are current.
- Generate and distribute comprehensive termination reports and analytics for management review and decision-making.
- Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding their final settlements and accrued benefits.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies found in termination data, leveraging tools such as Excel Power Query and data validation techniques.
- Support the continuous improvement of offboarding processes by documenting best practices and suggesting enhancements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll processing, with a preference for prior exposure to offboarding or end-of-service functions.
- Hands-on experience with either SAP SuccessFactors Payroll or Oracle HCM Cloud is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and Power Query, is required.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction purposes is beneficial.
- A solid understanding of UAE labor law and the methodologies for calculating end-of-service benefits is necessary.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the proven ability to audit large datasets for accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory.
- The capacity to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple termination cases concurrently.
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field.
