Role Purpose and Responsibilities
In this critical role, you will be responsible for the strategic scheduling and deployment of Audit professionals, reporting to local and regional leadership. Your primary objective will be to maximize resource utilization and ensure efficient operations, while also supporting the professional development of the talent pool. This position requires effective collaboration with Managers and Talent Group Leaders to address business requirements, resolve potential conflicts, and ensure adherence to set policies and frameworks.
- Manage the deployment of auditors to various assignments throughout the year, aiming to maximize utilization levels and deployment effectiveness.
- Maintain the schedule on a dedicated resource planning tool and ensure its regular accuracy.
- Plan resources efficiently, considering engagement budgets, gearing, service excellence, and employee development.
- Monitor and track resource utilization regularly, identify gaps, and provide recommendations for corrective actions to increase utilization.
- Collaborate with HR to manage the onboarding and offboarding of resources, identify manpower and recruitment needs, and address employee performance concerns.
- Work with the Learning department to effectively implement learning requirements.
- Generate and analyze various reports to ensure quality standards are met.
- Communicate resourcing concerns to leadership to support informed decision-making.
- Actively manage expectations and escalate matters as necessary.
- Perform other relevant tasks as required.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of practical, hands-on experience, ideally in a similar role involving planning and/or scheduling skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is considered a plus.
- Advanced technical proficiency and computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Management tools.
