Key Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert and thought leader within your designated scope, understanding its principles and details thoroughly.

  • Proactively identify and propose new Machine Learning opportunities relevant to your scope and the broader organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Solid technical skills in Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, and Software Development, ideally supported by a Master's degree or higher in a relevant quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Physics.
  • Proficiency in writing efficient, production-quality Python and SQL code in a professional setting, with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience (more experience is expected for senior roles).
  • Strong understanding of key software engineering concepts including code and memory profiling, code optimization, scalability, code and QA testing, cost optimization, and associated best practices.
  • Firm grasp of key statistical concepts, including statistical testing and causal analysis.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
  • An engineering mindset focused on delivering robust and applied data science solutions.
  • Effective data visualization skills, with experience using common Python ecosystem libraries and/or Analytics/BI tooling.
