This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites by maintaining inventory accuracy and minimizing material loss.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive & Inspect Materials: Verify deliveries against purchase orders and report damaged or missing items.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records and conduct regular inventory counts.
- Material Issuance: Issue materials and tools to site personnel as required.
- Site Coordination: Work closely with site engineers to ensure material availability.
- Storage & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety guidelines for material storage.
- Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain all necessary documentation and generate inventory reports.
Qualifications & Skills:- High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in a related field is advantageous.
- 25 years of experience in storekeeping, preferably in construction.
- Proficiency in stock management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work physically and under pressure.
