Responsibilities:
  • Conduct checks on all processing equipment and report any faults.
  • Dismantle and check instruments/equipment appropriately.
  • Utilize processing equipment for cleaning or sterilization.
  • Assembly and packing of instruments/equipment as required.
  • Unload collection trolleys in Decontamination room and document equipment.
  • Monitor chemical levels and ensure PPE is used in the workplace.
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness in all work areas.
  • Conduct inspections of instruments and return any that do not meet standards for re-processing.
  • Carry out sterilization processes, including daily and weekly testing of sterilizers.
  • Coordinate with user departments to ensure successful sterilization processes.

Qualifications:
  • Diploma in a related field (oral and dental health, infection control, etc.).
  • Four years of experience in managing sterilization activities.
  • Two years of experience in the same position or at the same level.
  • Strong command of the English language (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Capacity to work harmoniously with others and make independent decisions.
  • Full knowledge of CBAHI systems related to infection control.
