Position Overview
As the Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily shift operations of Housekeeping, including Recreation/Health Club and Laundry services. Your leadership will ensure that property guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas are consistently clean and well-maintained, contributing to guest satisfaction and adherence to our operating budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage housekeeping operations, ensuring guest room statuses are communicated effectively.
• Supervise daily Housekeeping shift operations, maintaining compliance with all policies and standards.
• Participate in the management of departmental costs and budgets, aiming to achieve financial goals.
• Foster a culture of exceptional customer service by responding to guest complaints and empowering employees.
• Oversee human resources activities, including employee training, performance appraisal, and recruitment.

Candidate Profile
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years of experience in housekeeping or related field.
- Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with no work experience required.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Room Cleaning: Ensuring guest rooms are clean and ready for new arrivals through making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
• Public Area Maintenance: Keeping public areas like lobbies and hallways clean and presentable.
• Linen Room Duties: Managing linens, including sorting, counting, and distributing clean items.
• Laundry Coordination: Working with the laundry department for timely service and quality inspection.
• Guest Requests: Attending to additional requests from guests for items like towels or pillows.
• Stocking Supplies: Restocking carts with cleaning supplies and ensuring inventory levels are adequate.
• Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of linen usage and uniform issuance.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Following all safety guidelines to maintain a clean environment.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient operations.

What We Need From You
The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Administration or Business Administration.
• Two to three years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an international luxury hotel chain.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is preferred.

As the Executive Housekeeper, your main responsibilities will include:

• Supervising Staff: Overseeing housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and service standards.
• Quality Control: Inspecting guest rooms and public areas to maintain hotel standards.
• Training and Development: Training new employees and providing ongoing training opportunities.
• Inventory Management: Managing cleaning supplies and ordering as needed.
• Guest Interaction: Responding to guest requests and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Scheduling: Creating and managing staff schedules for optimal coverage.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health regulations and conducting regular safety training.
• Reporting: Preparing reports on housekeeping activities and maintenance issues.
• Budget Management: Assisting in managing the housekeeping budget.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in housekeeping operations.

What We Need From You
We are looking for candidates with:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel Administration / Business Administration
• 23 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience with an international luxury hotel chain
• GCC exposure
• Fluency in English (Arabic is preferred)
