  • Liaise effectively with Local Ground Handling Agents and the Head Office Cargo Department to ensure and enhance high-quality service for both import and export operations.
  • Oversee GHA routines to ensure the smooth running of all operational activities.
  • Provide support to import customers for the clearance of their cargo.
  • Liaise with HQ DOH and/or origin stations to secure necessary support for operations.
  • Engage in flight planning to maximize flight capacity utilization, control, and operation of export and import cargo.
  • Maintain close coordination between QR Space Control and customers, ensuring timely transfer and delivery of shipments, correct priority allocation, and maximum utilization of aircraft space.
  • Coordinate with customers and Cargo Claims representatives at Head Office, handling discrepancies at stations and managing administrative issues.
  • Disseminate cargo-related information to customers regarding customs, governmental, and health authority rules, and to Head Office to ensure compliance and avoid penalties.
  • Ensure official notifications are sent regarding Cargo Arrival Information to freight forwarders, agents, and direct customers to prevent extended cargo custody and ensure warehouse space availability.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A relevant vocational, tertiary, or trade qualification is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in cargo operations is essential.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Cargo Operations, Acceptance, Office Administration, Warehouse Procedures, Ramp Procedures, and both export and import cargo processes.
  • Command of the English language is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on GE HealthCare Imaging medical equipment.
