Financial Accountant

Tasks and Requirements:

• Good experience in financial accounting and preparation of daily entries.
• Familiarity with bank reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
• Ability to work on accounting ERP systems and software.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
• Availability and ability to work as part of a team.
• Preferably, the applicant should be a resident of Riyadh.

• Review invoices and supporting documents for payment transactions to ensure completeness and compliance with contracts and approved financial policies.
• Prepare and review payment orders and verify financial data accuracy prior to approval based on delegated authority.
• Process supplier and vendor payments while monitoring due dates to ensure timely settlement.
• Accurately record all payment transactions in the financial system and ensure correct accounting entries.
• Review operating and capital expenditures to ensure proper classification and allocation to the correct cost centers.
• Prepare and review accounts payable reconciliations, monitor open balances, and resolve discrepancies in coordination with relevant departments.
• Coordinate with the treasury function to ensure sufficient liquidity is available before executing scheduled payments.
• Monitor advance payments and pending settlements to ensure timely closure and reconciliation.
• Prepare periodic reports on payments, including overdue payments analysis and recommendations for improvement.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve payment inquiries, discrepancies, and outstanding claims.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities through payment schedules and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and contribute to improving payment processes efficiency.
• Participate in the automation and enhancement of accounts payable processes to improve data quality and reduce operational errors.

• Manage banking channels and relationships.
• Oversee credit lines, including OD, STL, EBLs and LTL, and manage various LGs.
• Handle daily treasury operations and facility management.
• Ensure efficient cash flow and liquidity positioning.

• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant treasury experience.
• Experience in the banking sector or multinational corporation is preferred.
• Strong grasp of banking facilities and credit instruments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Analyze complex financial information and generate reports, forecasts, and projections.
• Collaborate effectively to resolve problems and prevent potential issues.
• Support the training and development of finance professionals.
• Take initiative in prioritizing tasks to meet team goals.
• Create presentations and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

• Strong problem-solving skills and detail-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports, journal entries, and monthly closing statements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with Saudi financial regulations and ZATCA requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgeting activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Process quotations, invoices, payments, and payroll support when required.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of accounting records within Odoo ERP.
• Assist management with financial analysis and reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience within Saudi Arabia.
• Mandatory experience using Odoo ERP software in a Saudi business environment.
• Strong understanding of VAT regulations and accounting practices in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• English proficiency required; Arabic is an advantage.

• Experience in trading or irrigation industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and procurement processes.
• Immediate availability is a plus.

• Record daily financial transactions including AP/AR, journal entries, and general ledger updates.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare expense, revenue, and budget reports for management review.
• Support budgeting activities and monitor budget variances.
• Assist with internal and external audit documentation.
• Ensure compliance with VAT and financial regulations.
• Process invoices, payments, payroll entries, petty cash, and reimbursements.
• Collaborate closely with Finance and Operations teams to improve financial processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Tally.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial tools.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in Arabic & English.

We are looking for an organized and accurate employee to work on entering daily invoices and following up on supplier invoices through the Odoo system or similar ERP systems.

Requirements:
• Basic experience in data entry or invoices
• Familiarity with Odoo or ERP systems
• Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office programs
• Accuracy, organization, and commitment to daily follow-up
• Previous experience in restaurants or cafes is preferred.
