About the Role

*******, an AI company headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Software Sales professional. The company focuses on building sovereign AI products for government and enterprise clients within the Kingdom. This role is integral to driving revenue growth in the Saudi Arabian market by selling *******'s AI product suite to government entities, semi-government organizations, and large enterprises. Success will depend on close collaboration with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to secure complex deals and expand the company's presence within existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals for *****, SAFHA, and the broader Velents platform, targeting Saudi Arabian government and enterprise accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, focusing on ministries, government agencies, banks, telecommunication companies, and other large Saudi enterprises.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with C-suite executives, IT leadership, and procurement teams within target organizations.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and solutions teams to create proposals, respond to RFPs, and deliver technical demonstrations.
  • Navigate and understand Saudi government procurement processes, including Etimad, NUPCO, and direct engagement with ministries.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts across the product portfolio.
  • Represent Velents at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements in Saudi Arabia.
  • Provide market intelligence on the competitive landscape, pricing, and client needs to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and detailed pipeline reporting within the CRM system.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A strong understanding of Saudi government procurement processes, including Etimad, framework agreements, and direct award mechanisms.
  • Proven experience in selling AI, cloud, or digital transformation solutions is highly preferred.
  • An established network of contacts within Saudi ministries, semi-government entities, or key enterprise verticals such as banking, telecommunications, or healthcare.
  • Fluent Arabic language proficiency (professional/native) is required, alongside strong English language skills.
  • Must be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate to Riyadh.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a significant degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • A minimum of 4 to 7 years of progressive experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales, with a preference for experience in SaaS, HR solutions, or enterprise software targeting SMEs.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and managing the full sales cycle independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Experience working across multiple markets, with specific experience in the KSA and Jordan markets being a significant advantage.
