Role Overview
The Inventory Controller is responsible for monitoring, managing, and reporting stock levels and movements within the retail store. This role works closely with the fulfillment and planning team to ensure stock availability, maintain accurate inventory records, and support efficient store operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management & Control
    • Oversee inventory control activities, including ordering, receiving, and transferring stock to designated locations.
    • Ensure optimal inventory levels for retail, bulk, and consumable items.
    • Conduct inventory reconciliation, analyze discrepancies, and identify root causes.
    • Perform physical stock counts and verify records for accuracy, adjusting errors as necessary.
    • Manage the return process for damaged and non-usable products, including documentation and reporting.
    • Conduct a complete inventory of linen items within the system.
  • Reporting & Documentation
    • Maintain accurate records of all stock transactions.
    • Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on consumption, inventory levels, shortages, and depletion trends.
    • Develop and improve operational procedures to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
    • Apply and enforce company policies and industry standards for inventory management and cost control.
  • Operational Compliance & Coordination
    • Ensure adherence to standards and procedures established by the IZIL Supply Chain, Spa team, and Accounts policy.
    • Collaborate with the Finance and Supply Chain departments for financial reconciliation and reporting.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of improvements to existing inventory procedures.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Location Manager, Supply Chain, or Finance Departments.
Qualifications & Experience
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Proficiency in English (both verbal and written communication skills)
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in inventory recording.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and ERP systems.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and experience with inventory management principles.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in the Retail or Beauty industry.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite ERP and Mindbody Solution is a plus.
