Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation and integration of airport operational systems including AODB, A-SMGCS, ALCMS, AOCC, RMS, FIDS, ATMS, CNS Systems, ICT infrastructure, security systems, baggage handling systems, middleware platforms, and associated operational technologies.
  • Ensure all systems delivery activities comply with applicable aviation regulations, airport operational standards, cybersecurity requirements, and program governance procedures.
  • Establish program-wide interface governance processes including interface identification, ownership assignment, issue resolution, escalation management, and interface closure verification.
  • Direct program-level testing and commissioning strategies including factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, integrated systems testing, operational validation, and phased go-live activities.
  • Direct integrated testing and validation activities including Systems Integration Testing (SIT), System-Centric Integration Testing (SCIT), operational validation, stakeholder demonstrations, and readiness assessment across interfacing systems.
  • Maintain oversight of integration-related risks, dependencies, assumptions, constraints, and interface issues that may impact program delivery, testing activities, and operational readiness.
  • Ensure all operational readiness obligations are achieved in alignment with airport activation strategies and stakeholder acceptance requirements.
  • Provide executive oversight of change management processes related to systems scope, interfaces, operational impacts, schedule changes, and technical compliance.
  • Establish and lead integration governance forums, technical working groups, readiness reviews, interface review boards, and executive reporting mechanisms to support program-wide decision making.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams including systems managers, integration leads, testing & commissioning teams, ORAT specialists, and quality personnel.
  • Represent Parsons in executive-level meetings, technical reviews, program governance forums, and client leadership engagements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aviation Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 20 years of professional experience in large-scale infrastructure, aviation, airport systems, or complex technology integration programs.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in major international airport programs involving systems integration, operational technologies, or airport-wide systems delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering airport systems programs through testing, commissioning, operational readiness, and activation phases.
