About the Role:
As an Operations Manager - Accounting at Alaan, you will serve as an expert for all customer-facing accounting-related issues and queries. Your role will involve:
  • Delighting customers with your knowledge of accounting systems and best practices.
  • Educating customers on topics such as reconciliation, chart of accounts mapping, journal entries, and financial reporting workflows.
  • Empowering the customer support team to handle basic accounting issues through documentation and training resources.
  • Building tools and processes to streamline support for accounting-related queries.
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex accounting issues.
  • Collaborating with the product team to enhance our accounting features.

What We’re Looking For:
Applicants should possess:
  • 3–6 years of experience in an operations or accounting role within a fintech, SaaS, or financial services company.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Netsuite, Zoho Books, or Odoo.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort working with technical teams and APIs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Job Purpose
The Sales Engineer – HVAC will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and promoting HVAC products such as coils, heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators, and related systems. A strong technical knowledge in HVAC systems along with proven sales experience is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new sales leads and develop strong relationships with contractors, consultants, OEMs, and end-users.
  • Promote and sell HVAC products including Coils, Heat Exchangers, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, and Chillers.
  • Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
  • Prepare and present techno-commercial offers, quotations, and product presentations.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Coordinate with the engineering and production team for technical clarifications.
  • Monitor ongoing projects and ensure smooth order execution until delivery.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and market prices.
  • Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3–7 years of experience in HVAC product sales (preferably coils / heat exchangers / AHU components).
  • Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, coil selection, and HVAC load concepts.
  • Experience working with consultants and contractors in KSA is preferred.
  • A valid Saudi driving license is preferred.

  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare technical proposals and read mechanical drawings.
