About the Role
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a skilled CCTV/Security Systems Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is essential for ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of critical CCTV, security, and RTPI (Real-Time Passenger Information) systems. You will play a key part in coordinating with contractors, supporting contract administration with technical expertise, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our advanced security infrastructure. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring 5-10 years of experience in a similar capacity. You will be instrumental in monitoring live systems, escalating incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain CCTV and security systems to ensure high reliability and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the management of Public Address (PA) and Planning systems within the RTPI framework.
- Manage interfaces for Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) and Operator Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), coordinating closely with contractors.
- Administer all relevant systems and interfaces, including discussing fault reports and customer complaints with contractors.
- Conduct software testing and release new software in the Test & Development center, with a focus on ITS interfaces.
- Support the Contract Administration Manager and Employer by providing technical requirements, specifications (SDS), and managing technical variations.
- Provide input and expertise on the architecture of CCTV and security systems.
- Monitor live CCTV feeds and system alarms, escalating incidents as required to ensure prompt resolution.
- Support Network Operations Center (NOC) daily checks to maintain system integrity.
- Prepare compliance logs for submission to safety and security agencies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in the operation and maintenance of CCTV and security systems.
- A degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, RTPI, PA systems, ITS interfaces, and system administration.
- Proven experience with software testing, releasing software, and managing system interfaces.
- Familiarity with technical specifications (SDS), contract variations, and contract enforcement principles.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to evaluate system performance and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with contractors, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Knowledge of safety and security compliance standards relevant to the industry.
