Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in handling UTP and fiber cables (CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, fiber MM, fiber SM).
  • Skilled in bunching, terminating, and testing UTP cables.
  • Ability to install various pipeline systems including trunks, ducts, flex pipes, and EMT pipes.
  • Experience with equipment such as Fluke, Fusion splicer, Mechanical splicer, OTDR, Power meters, and light sources.
  • Competent in performing fiber optic tests and troubleshooting issues.
  • Technical understanding of loss and attenuation principles.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications, especially Excel and the Internet; eager to learn new software.
  • Knowledge of foundational electricity principles relevant to telecommunications (voltage, current, resistance, power, grounding, insulation, Ohm’s Law, AC/DC).
  • Experience using electric power measurement instruments (multi-meters, Avo meters).
  • Capable of using both hand tools and electric power tools (*, cable lugs crimper, hot guns, heat shrinks, Hilti, drills).
  • Adept at installation, racking, and stacking equipment such as switches, routers, UPSs, and both indoor and outdoor cameras.

Additional Skills:
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, on-call duty, overnight, weekends, holidays, and extended travel.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift and move weights up to 50 Kg.
  • A valid Saudi driver’s license is required.
  • Fair command of the English language.
