Role Overview
District is seeking a Content Strategy & Messaging Lead to own ideation, scripting, and messaging across all marketing channels, with a primary focus on District Flowers.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. You will be responsible for developing compelling content ideas, writing persuasive scripts and copy, and leading content initiatives from concept through execution.
You are not just posting content — you are shaping the voice, narrative, and creative direction of the brand.
Core Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Ideation

Develop content concepts aligned with business goals

Study trends across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms

Devise strong hooks and storytelling angles

Pitch structured content ideas for approval

Translate seasonal campaigns (Ramadan, Valentine’s, etc.) into creative direction
2. Scriptwriting & Messaging

Write scripts for short-form video content

Develop captions and storytelling frameworks

Craft persuasive promotional messaging

Maintain consistent tone across retail, wholesale, and reseller segments

Ensure clarity and conversion-focused communication
3. Multi-Channel Content Leadership

Lead content initiatives across:

Instagram

TikTok
-
Website messaging
-
Campaign launches
-
Align messaging between visuals, UI/UX updates, and product features
-
Ensure storytelling consistency across platforms
4. On-Screen Direction & Talent Management

Direct on-screen talent during shoots

Coach team members for confident delivery

Manage pacing, hook structure, and narrative clarity

Lead execution when required (especially during campaign pushes)
5. Trend & Performance Analysis

Study content trends and adapt strategically

Identify patterns in engagement and customer behavior

Suggest improvements based on performance insights

Maintain awareness of competitor messaging
6. Execution Support (When Needed)
Design, editing, and content production skills are a strong plus.
The role may involve:
