Job Title: Field Purchasing Agent

Job Summary:

The field purchasing agent is responsible for executing purchasing processes and transporting materials between suppliers and different sites affiliated with the establishment. His duties include field research for suppliers, receiving and transporting orders, and ensuring the timely availability of materials with the best possible quality to achieve business continuity and reduce delays and costs.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Visiting suppliers and factories directly to obtain price quotes and negotiate the best terms.

  • Receiving materials and purchases from suppliers and ensuring they meet the required specifications.

  • Delivering purchases to the company’s sites and warehouses on time.

  • Ensuring the safety of materials during transportation and adhering to safety procedures.

  • Coordinating purchasing processes in collaboration with internal departments and warehouses.

  • Monitoring the availability of essential materials periodically and providing purchasing recommendations when needed.

  • Submitting periodic reports on purchasing movements and observations on supplier performance.

  • Documenting purchasing transactions and maintaining records of invoices and purchase orders.

  • Contributing to improving purchasing processes and providing suggestions to reduce costs and improve efficiency.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma as a minimum, preferably with a diploma or qualification in purchasing or management.

  • Practical experience of no less than one year in field purchasing or logistics services.

  • A valid driving license.

  • Good knowledge of supplier networks and local markets.

  • Ability to work under pressure and move between several sites daily.

  • Good organizational and communication skills.
